Our Approach

Studio 34 Music will:

• Provide a safe environment for children and young people

• Promote safe and respectful interactions between staff and students

• Respond appropriately to any concerns regarding the welfare of a child

Recognising Concerns

Concerns regarding a child’s welfare may arise through:

• Observations of behaviour or wellbeing

• Disclosure from a student

• Information shared by parents, guardians or other responsible adults

Any such concerns will be treated seriously.

Responding to Concerns

If a concern is raised regarding the safety or welfare of a child, Studio 34 Music may:

• Record the concern appropriately

• Seek advice from safeguarding professionals

• Contact relevant safeguarding authorities where necessary

Our priority will always be the safety and wellbeing of the child.
