Studio 34 Music recognises its responsibility to help safeguard children and young people who participate in its activities.

Child protection forms part of our wider safeguarding commitment.

Our Approach

Studio 34 Music will:

• Provide a safe environment for children and young people

• Promote safe and respectful interactions between staff and students

• Respond appropriately to any concerns regarding the welfare of a child

Concerns regarding a child’s welfare may arise through:

• Observations of behaviour or wellbeing

• Disclosure from a student

• Information shared by parents, guardians or other responsible adults

Any such concerns will be treated seriously.

If a concern is raised regarding the safety or welfare of a child, Studio 34 Music may:

• Record the concern appropriately

• Seek advice from safeguarding professionals

• Contact relevant safeguarding authorities where necessary

Our priority will always be the safety and wellbeing of the child.
